What is Queens Know?…..

I haven’t blogged since forever but for those of you who care, I am back! With some new ideas I want to share with you all!
For those of you who have followed my blog, you know that Queens Know started here. And for those of you just started reading my blog here’s a quick run down.
I started my blog after my trip back from Haiti in May 2014. ( Haiti was amazing by the way, my first time in my parents country, definitely gave me a new perspective on life and the things around me).
When blogging about my trip to Haiti came to an end (so sad). I decided to continue my blog about girls, self-love and myself. Not in an over obnoxious way but in way where girls who can relate with my size, (plus size) and height (I’m 6’1) and other girls who can’t relate to me per se, can realize self-worth and that we are all Queens and if not yet, potential Queens.
I thought I would start by answering this question before giving you all the news..
What is Queens Know?…Well lets start with who are the Queens? All of the girls out there like myself who are striving for greatness, regardless of others outlook on you. Whether you’re a mother, a teacher, a basketball player, a model, an actress, a dancer, a wife, a college student, a coach, a writer , hair dresser, makeup artist, a poet or an Entrepreneur, the list goes on. If your simply pushing towards your dreams, goals and aspirations everyday then you truly are a Queen.
What do we know as Queens? We know that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139:14), so opinions on how we should look like doesn’t matter. We know that another Queens hustle doesn’t lead to jealousy but acknowledgement and appreciation. That struggle can bring out the best in us if we let it, and as Queens we know that we can only attract Kings, not those who are portrayed as one. ( and this isn’t all we know but things I thought were important to share)
